Dorelan – Italian Mattresses at LuxeRoom, Raffles Hotel

Since 1968, Dorelan has been a symbol of Italian excellence, with all of its mattresses and bed frames 100 percent made in Italy. Now, the company has its first dedicated brand showroom in Singapore, at LuxeRoom in the Raffles Hotel Arcade.

The Re:Active mattress is one of Dorelan's signature models and the first developed with scientific research support. It combines advanced sleep technology for athlete recovery with ergonomic design. The Hybrid Twin HD technology combines the biomechanical engineering of the Twin System spring core with the ergonomics of Myform Memory Air HD. The result is tailor-made comfort that dynamically responds to muscular micro-movements, promoting deep muscle release.

A scientific study conducted on professional athletes demonstrated extraordinary results: significantly reduced lumbar pain, as well as reduced time to fall asleep and sleep fragmentation.

Key benefits:

• At the heart of Dorelan's innovation lies its patented MyForm – a viscoelastic foam engineered and manufactured in-house in Italy to gently cradle the body with precision and softness, while regulating temperature for an optimal rest.

• Unlike standard foams made with TDI, MyForm is based on MDI, a cleaner, water-based foaming process that avoids CFCs, formaldehyde and heavy metals. This commitment to safety has earned it Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class 1 certification – so it's even suitable for infants.

• Eight versions in this range mean there's a mattress for everyone.

BayShop – Natural Latex Mattresses Made in Singapore

BayShop is a Singapore mattress company that has been making 100% natural latex mattresses under the SYMFONI range since 2015. These latex mattresses contain no synthetic foams, harmful chemicals or filler layers, just natural Dunlop latex sourced from Sri Lanka. They're made in the company's Singapore factory, from cutting and assembly to the final quality inspection.

SYMFONI mattresses have been refined over the course of three years of listening to customers and gathering expert advice, guided by founder Brendan Phuah's philosophy of purity over presentation. The dual-firmness design gives you a firm top and a medium bottom in a single mattress, so you can flip the mattress either way for your choice of firmness.

Key benefits:

• Naturally cool for Singapore nights: Latex's open-cell structure and ventilation pinholes keep air moving through the mattress all night. Naturally resistant to dust mites and mould, it stays fresher in Singapore's year-round humidity.

• Head-to-toe support, certified safe: Latex's natural elasticity adapts to your body, supporting proper spinal alignment. The SYMFONI's built-in seven-zone design relieves pressure at the shoulders and hips.

• Private Sleep Studio to test mattresses: Instead of a crowded showroom, BayShop's private Sleep Studio gives you a 45-minute session with a sleep consultant (by appointment only). Test every firmness level at your own pace, with no interruptions or sales pressure.
